These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all vendors, exhibitors, attendees, and guests participating in or attending the Card Show (the “Event”). By registering for, entering, or attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Event Admission & Entry
Admission to the Event requires a valid ticket unless expressly stated otherwise by the organiser.
Tickets must be purchased through the official website or authorised ticketing partner. Proof of purchase (digital or printed) may be required upon entry.
Early Bird tickets permit entry prior to general opening time. General Admission tickets permit entry during standard opening hours only.
All admission fees are non-refundable except where the Event is cancelled by the organiser.
Refunds will not be issued for:
Failure to attend
Late arrival
Removal due to breach of these Terms
Personal circumstances
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, tickets for leisure events taking place on a specific date are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that no statutory right to cancel applies.
Re-entry is permitted only with an official wristband or hand stamp.
The Event reserves the right to refuse entry, restrict access, or remove any individual to comply with venue capacity limits, safety requirements, or these Terms.
Children must be supervised at all times. The Event is not responsible for lost or unattended minors.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By purchasing a ticket, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting the organiser to seek resolution.
Initiating a chargeback without valid grounds may result in the ticket being immediately voided and entry refused.
The organiser reserves the right to provide these Terms & Conditions, refund policy, proof of purchase, delivery confirmation, and attendance records to Stripe or the relevant payment provider in response to any dispute.
Fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity may result in the purchaser being prohibited from attending future events.
2. Vendor Registration & Tables
Vendor tables must be paid for in advance to secure a placement at the Event.
Vendor tables are assigned at the sole discretion of Event management.
Table sharing or subleasing is prohibited unless approved in writing.
Vendors must remain set up for the full duration of the Event. Early teardown may result in denial of future participation.
Vendor cancellations notified in advance will receive a refund in accordance with the Event’s refund policy.
Vendor no-shows (failure to attend without notice) will not receive a refund.
Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness of their trading area. All rubbish must be removed and placed in designated bins. Rubbish must not be left on or around tables at the end of the Event.
3. Merchandise & Sales Compliance
Vendors may only sell authentic, legally obtained merchandise.
Counterfeit, altered, or illegal items are strictly prohibited.
Vendors are solely responsible for collecting, declaring, and remitting any applicable taxes and for full compliance with HMRC requirements.
The Event does not authenticate, guarantee, or mediate the value, condition, or legitimacy of any items sold.
4. Conduct & Safety
Vendors and attendees must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner at all times.
Aggressive sales tactics, harassment, abusive language, intimidation, or behaviour that may bring the Event into disrepute will not be tolerated.
Disorderly conduct, threats, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.
No running, loitering, or blocking of aisles.
Weapons, illegal substances, and prohibited items are not allowed on the premises.
Backpacks and large bags may be restricted behind vendor tables at the discretion of Event staff.
5. Security & Liability
Vendors are solely responsible for the security of their own stand, stock, cash, and personal property at all times.
Any theft, loss, or damage to vendor property is the sole responsibility of the vendor. The Event, its organisers, staff, and venue accept no responsibility for such loss, including theft occurring during setup, Event hours, or teardown.
Attendees and vendors enter the Event at their own risk.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
6. Photography, CCTV & Media
The Event and venue may operate CCTV for safety and security purposes.
The Event may photograph or record video during the Event for promotional, marketing, or documentation purposes.
Attendance constitutes consent to the use of likeness in such media without compensation.
7. Cancellations, Changes & Force Majeure
The Event reserves the right to modify Event hours, layout, vendor assignments, or programming where reasonably necessary.
In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond the Event’s reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, venue closure, power failure, transport disruption, strikes, or government restrictions, the Event shall not be liable for any additional losses incurred by vendors or attendees.
Any refunds in such circumstances will be determined at the Event’s discretion and in accordance with applicable UK law.
8. Damage to Venue
Vendors are responsible for any damage caused to venue property.
Tape, signage, or displays must comply with venue policies.
9. Enforcement, Disputes & Insurance
Event management reserves the right to enforce these Terms at all times.
The Event does not mediate or resolve disputes between vendors and customers, including disputes relating to authenticity, condition, or value of items sold.
Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry their own public liability and property insurance.
Any individual who fails to comply with these Terms may be removed without refund.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of the Event, its organisers, staff, and representatives arising out of or in connection with the Event shall be limited to the amount paid by the relevant vendor for their table, or the amount paid by an attendee for admission, as applicable.
The Event shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, or travel expenses.
11. Indemnity
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Event, its organisers, staff, and venue against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
The vendor’s products, sales, or representations
Breach of these Terms
Damage to the venue or third-party property
Injury caused by the vendor, their staff, or equipment
12. Electrical Safety & Equipment
Any electrical equipment used by vendors must be safe, suitable, and compliant with applicable UK regulations.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring any electrical items are PAT tested where required.
Extension leads and cables must not create trip hazards and must not be overloaded.
The Event reserves the right to disconnect any unsafe equipment.
13. Fire Safety & Obstruction
Fire exits, aisles, and access routes must be kept clear at all times.
Stock, boxes, or equipment must not be stored in a manner that obstructs exits or walkways.
Failure to comply may result in immediate corrective action or removal.
14. Food & Drink Sales
The sale or distribution of food or drink is prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by the Event.
15. Right to Amend & Operational Authority
The Event reserves the right to make reasonable amendments to Event rules, layout, or operations where required for safety, venue compliance, or legal reasons.
Such amendments shall apply immediately and form part of these Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
18. Consumer Rights (UK Notice)
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
